Refund Policy

Submitting a Refund, Return, or Exchange Request

To submit a refund, return, or exchange request for an order placed with DNSP HOST, please contact us by opening a support ticket or emailing us at support@dnsphost.in.

Ensure you have your order number available and provide a valid reason for your request to help expedite the process. Your request will be reviewed within a standard 2-day response period, and we will notify you via ticket or email regarding the outcome. We reserve the right to extend this response time in exceptional cases, with prior notice.

Direct Debit and Payment Delays

In cases of Direct Debit payments, refund requests can only be processed after a 6-week period from the date of payment. This time allows your bank to complete its settlement process. DNSP HOST will only review and respond to your refund request after this period ends.

Refund Eligibility and Timing

Refund, return, or exchange requests are accepted within 7 days of the original order date. DNSP HOST may grant extensions in special cases or for specific products, at our sole discretion.

Order Cancellation and Non-Payment

If you choose to pay via cheque or money order, you may cancel the order before completing the payment. If payment is not received within 7 days, DNSP HOST will cancel the order automatically.

Cancellations can only be requested on the same day the order was placed. If the order has already been shipped or delivered, we will not be able to approve the cancellation request.

Product-Specific Return Terms

Certain products may be subject to specific return conditions, as described in the order confirmation or product documentation ("Product Terms"). Please review these carefully before submitting a request. If there is any inconsistency between this Refund Policy and the Product Terms, this Refund Policy will take precedence. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on the part of DNSP HOST. In such cases, a formal request must be submitted.

Product Terms

Eligibility for refunds depends on the type of product or service purchased. Please review the following categories:

  • Refundable Products: Shared hosting plans, VPS packages, dedicated servers (if canceled within the initial 7 days of service activation), and SSL certificates (within the certificate authority’s refund window).
  • Non-Refundable Products & Services: Domain name registrations or renewals, WHOIS privacy protection, one-time setup or configuration fees, custom design or development services, and software licenses that have already been activated.
  • Partially Refundable: Monthly hosting plans may be prorated in cases of service failure attributed to DNSP HOST. Yearly plans may be eligible for a partial refund only if more than 6 months remain in the subscription.

If any discrepancies arise between this policy and individual product or service terms, this Refund Policy shall apply unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

Shipping and Special Terms

Some products may include specific return conditions, as mentioned in the order confirmation or accompanying materials ("Product Terms"). Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return results from an error made by DNSP HOST. To claim a refund in such cases, you must file a formal request.

Refund Processing and Timelines

If your refund request is approved by DNSP HOST, payment will be processed as follows:

  • Credit / Debit Card payments – within seven (7) business day
  • PayPal payments – within seven (7) business day
  • Bank Transfer and NEFT/IMPS payments – within seven (7) business days (transfer fees to be borne by the user)
  • Other payment methods – within seven (7) to ten (10) business days

Where applicable, DNSP HOST reserves the right to hold the refund until a completed and signed Letter of Destruction is received for the applicable product.

Governing Terms

This Refund Policy is governed by, and forms an integral part of, the DNSP HOST Terms and Conditions.
