Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP)

This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Please review it regularly for updates. It is considered an extension of DNSP HOST’s Terms and Conditions. DNSP HOST reserves the sole right to determine what constitutes a violation of this policy. If you believe a violation has occurred (excluding infringement notices, court orders, subpoenas, or legal processes), please contact: legal@dnsphost.in.

1) Web Hosting

1.1) DNSP HOST reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any or all services if an account is misused. DNSP HOST may refuse service or server access at its sole discretion.

1.2) DNSP HOST offers various account types with specific limits for web space and bandwidth. These resources are for legitimate website content and visitor access only. All hosted files must be linked to the live site. MP3s and other large media files that are not web-based content require a streaming media service. Files, emails, and other data will be retained for 30 days after the due date. Unpaid accounts beyond this period may be deleted. Reactivation may require a new subscription and an activation fee.

1.3) Site scripts must generate web content, not function as application servers. For example, sending bulk emails from a database is not allowed. Scripts must not alter server timeout settings or impact server stability.

1.4) DNSP HOST will disable any domain that does not meet the following criteria:

  • 1.4.1) The site’s main purpose must be to serve web content. All files must be linked from the website.
  • 1.4.2) Scripts must generate pages or manage submitted data. Bulk email or heavy database processes are not allowed. All outgoing email is monitored and filtered.
  • 1.4.3) Sites must not contain warez, illegal, immoral, or copyrighted material. It is the customer’s responsibility to prove ownership or rights to use content.
  • 1.4.4) Sites must not host downloadable MP3s. Other multimedia files must be configured for streaming (refer to 1.2).
  • 1.4.5) Sites must not contain password-protected archives (e.g., .zip, .rar) or data backups.
  • 1.4.6) Pornographic or lewd content is prohibited. DNSP HOST reserves full discretion in defining “adult material.”
  • 1.4.7) Excessive use of server resources (bandwidth, CPU, disk space) may result in immediate suspension. Customers may be asked to upgrade their plan.
  • 1.4.8) Sites must not contain scripts attempting to access restricted server resources or other clients’ data.
  • 1.4.9) Customers providing gaming services must submit a valid license from their jurisdiction before service activation.

1.5) Using multiple domains within one account purely for SEO manipulation is prohibited. All domains must relate to general web hosting use.

2) Email

2.1) If a mailbox or domain causes problems, DNSP HOST may adjust settings or remove the mailbox. In critical cases, email services or the domain may be suspended.

2.2) Common issues include:

  • 2.2.1) Receiving large volumes of undeliverable emails.
  • 2.2.2) Forwarders targeting invalid mailboxes.
  • 2.2.3) Auto-responders and forwarders creating mail loops.

2.3) You may not use DNSP HOST’s email services to:

  • 2.3.4) Send unsolicited, offensive, abusive, or obscene messages.
  • 2.3.5) Send messages that annoy, inconvenience, or harass recipients.
  • 2.3.6) Send fraudulent or criminally intended messages.

2.4) To prevent spam and unsolicited bulk mail, SMTP traffic will be blocked when:

  • 2.4.1) An open mail relay is detected.
  • 2.4.2) A domain sends a large volume of mail within a short time.
  • 2.4.3) We receive multiple spam complaints about messages from a DNSP HOST server.

2.5) To prevent IP blacklisting, DNSP HOST may disable a domain if:

  • 2.5.1) It sends unsolicited mail or is used to promote spam-hosted sites.

3) Managed or Unmanaged Dedicated Servers

3.1) Customers are fully responsible for activities and security of their dedicated servers. Servers will be disconnected if:

  • 3.1.1) They perform network scans or hacking attempts.
  • 3.1.2) There is suspicion of server compromise.
  • 3.1.3) Sudden bandwidth surges affect other servers on the same network.

4) General

4.1) DNSP HOST maintains a crime liaison team and works closely with law enforcement to reduce internet crimes.

4.2) Access may be suspended if an account:

  • 4.2.1) Contains invalid or false information.
  • 4.2.2) Initiates a payment card chargeback.

4.3) When DNSP HOST suspends a site or server:

  • 4.3.1) An email will be sent to the account contact. Use an external email not hosted on the suspended domain.
  • 4.3.2) Follow-up correspondence will explain the reason and any corrective actions needed.
  • 4.3.3) Previously suspended domains or servers for similar reasons will not be reactivated.
  • 4.3.4) The account will be passed to the relevant team to resolve billing or closure.

4.4) For minor issues (e.g., email), the support team will notify you during business hours.

4.5) Abuse-related matters must be addressed only via the support panel or email specified in the notice. No other departments are authorized to handle abuse cases.

4.6) Restoration of suspended services will be reviewed case by case.

5) Limited Liability

5.1) DNSP HOST’s liability, for any failure including downtime, errors, data loss, or security breaches, is limited to the amount paid for the current month.

5.2) If any clause of this agreement is ruled invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.

5.3) These terms override all previous agreements. Continued use of DNSP HOST services implies full acceptance of this policy and related terms.

Note: By signing up for any DNSP HOST service, you agree to comply with all terms stated in this Acceptable Usage Policy.
